Prof. Rajesh Mohnot
Dr. Rajesh Mohnot is a Professor of Finance and the Head of the Accounting & Finance Department at Ajman University, UAE. With over three decades of academic and leadership experience across India, Malaysia, Singapore, and the UAE, he is a distinguished researcher in financial econometrics, behavioral finance, renewable energy investments, and stock market dynamics. Dr. Mohnot has an outstanding publication record, with his work appearing in top-tier Scopus Q1 and ABDC-ranked journals such as Finance Research Letters, Journal of Risk Finance, Journal of Risk and Financial Management, Resources Policy, and FIIB. His recent research explores the asymmetric effects of macroeconomic variables, Fintech adoption, the resilience of Islamic financial systems, and the evolving landscape of sustainable investments. He has received multiple institutional awards for excellence in research supervision and teaching, including the 2024 Excellence in Research Supervision award from the Ajman Government and the 2025 Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award from Ajman University. Dr. Mohnot has served as a keynote speaker at numerous international conferences, a guest editor for special journal issues, and a reviewer for prestigious journals and conferences, including the Midwest Finance Association and FMA European Conference. He holds a Ph.D. in Commerce and has successfully supervised over 60 doctoral and master's theses.
