
Emilija Miteva Kacarski was born in 1982 in Strumica. In 2005 she graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Prilep, University “St.Kliment Ohridski” Bitola, on the study program International economy. As a student, she was awarded by the Faculty of Economics in Prilep. In 2009, she publicly defended her master’s thesis “The causal link between trade and the process of economic globalization” at the Institute of Economics, University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje and obtained master’s degree. She obtained a Ph.D. in Economics in 2014 by defending her dissertation on “The influence of the non-tariff protectionism on global trade flows” at the Institute of Economics, University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje. She joined the Faculty of Economics, University “Goce Delchev” in Shtip in 2007. In December 2014, she was appointed Assistant professor in International economy at the Faculty of Economics. The key areas of her interest include International Trade, Globalization, Tariff Policy, Non-tariff Protectionism, International organization and integrations. She takes active part in research and applied projects as well as scientific meetings, conferences, in the country and abroad. She is an author of numerous publications in the country and abroad.
